Whats new on the coast?

Building work has commenced on the coast! The New Year saw the arrival of Carillion on site to carry out the major construction phase on the Northern half of the site, from Whitehaven Harbour to the Haig Colliery Mining Museum. These works will include the re-opening of an elevated terrace overlooking the harbour, new pathways,steps and a cyclepath to improve access to and along the coast.
